The Idea and Inspiration
We all know Andy fell in love with St John the moment he landed on it's shores.
I was not here when he really began this process of building the house, but...
I do know that it was Jonathan Back that had purchased some land, and as
Andy
always told it, he was just walking along somewhere and Jonathan drove by
in a car,
yelling out the window "I got land...You're In!",
meaning Jonathan would make sure that Andy got a piece of it.
Jonathan's generosity regarding Andy (at least!) then and more recently
has been incredible, and could only have come from a place of love for his
dear friend.
So, Jonathan, I thank you!
I was not there when the true moments of inspiration struck Andy,
but I know the plans changed from the original design.

Some original ideas or inspiration for the pond came from this:
He had plans to do something like the dino fossil in the water for his pond,
but it didn't happen that way.
